Planet Earth on Discovery HD
Man, what an amazing series this is going to be. Just got down watching the first episode. The only thing that irritated me was how often they said " For the first time ever" about something being captured on film. Although it is cool to know, just got kind of old for me I guess. But regardless... this is ganna be great!

I love this series. I have cleared my Sunday evening schedule till the last one has aired. I really like most of the discovery channel's programming.

My wife is LOVING this series. She watched the full 3 hours of it on the 25th when it came out, now she wants to make it a point to be home on Sunday evenings.
I do have to say that the images of the earth are breath-taking in HD. |

Sunday's episode was great!!! The mountain one caught the most of my attention. The Ibex fighting on the side of the mountain was AWESOME. How they took the high ground and came down on each other. The echo of them hitting each other was amazing. I cant wait for the following epsiodes. Nothin planned for that time slot for the next couple of weeks.

Ah, crap! I gotta get a DVR on my satellite provider! I've seen the commercials, and it looks fantastic, but I'm never around on Sunday nights. I feel like I'm missing something on this one. (Hopefully they'll release it on DVD after it is aired?)

This is probably my favorite TV show right now. It looks absolutely stunning on my Samsung HL-S5087W 50" 1080p DLP HDTV too! Here are some pictures I took a few days ago of the show on my TV:
