RONIN definately ROCKS!!!

The Italian Job and the Bourne Supremacy also had great car chases!

Another movie that most ppl here probably would never know is an early 90's comedy called SHORT TIME. It had a fantastic car chase scene that most probably have never seen.

Ronin is great...Bullit is better...French Connection is the best...
The original Italian Job has almost a better car chase scene, primarily because all three minis are involved the whole way...

And of course, who can forget those campy classics like The Cannonball Run (1 and 2) or the Gumball Rally...just pure stupidity, but oh so fun to watch such glorious pieces of rolling art...especially in Gumball Rally....

Not sure if it's already been mentioned and it might not necessarily be considered a traditional car chase film, but The Blues Brothers gets my vote.

I saw Ronin in the theater when it was released around '96. I dug that movie quite a bit. Dinero's acting along with the sick-ass action in it made it a really enjoyable film.

Great lines too:

"Ever kill anybody?"
"I hurt somebody's feelings once."

"Tell me about an ambush. I ambushed you with a cup of coffee!!"

yeah, me too!!

I'm not a fan but I'm a little surprised that no one has mentioned (just because) the Fastest and the Furriest. Ricers rippin' and Chargers dragging rear bumper . Too bad about the movie itself though....

One I semi-remember from when I was a kid, and it's a little fuzzy now, but didn't Sugarland Express have some good high speed action?
