Smile Good Car Chase Films

I love a good car chase movie now and then. Here's some all times classics in no particular order.

Bullitt - Classic chase, beautiful actress Jacqueline Bisset, great film score, memorable lines. What more could you want?

Vanishing Point - Good B movie. Cleavon Little is amazing as the blind DJ. Good soundtrack. I hear this film had an influence on Quentin's new movie "Death Proof".

The Seven Up's - Directed by the producer of Bullitt. Well acted and great surprise twist ending.

The Driver - Another B movie feel. The parking lot scene is the best!

Gone In 60 Seconds - Okay, the acting is pretty bad, but the last 45 minute car chase is stunning! The original I'm talking about not the remake.

Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry - Fun is how I feel when I watch it if that makes any sense. Another film that had a big influence on Tarintino.

Magnum Force - Okay, it's not really a car chase film, but the chase near the end of the film has some cool jumps.

That's about all I can think of. Anyone else share my passion of car chase films? What's some you like?

Another one I hear is good is the following:

Duel - I caught the last fifteen minutes of the film on cable TV. I should watch it at the begining.

Two Lane Blacktop - Never seen this but I hear it's pretty good.

The Italian Job had a great car chase.

I don't know how the car survived but it was a great chase.

Re: Good Car Chase Films

Ronin was great. The Bourne Identity had a pretty good chase scene. Mr & Mrs Smith in the mini van was cool, and Casino Royale when the Dbs set a new worlds record ( don't wanna spoil the scene for those who have not seen it ) and my favorite; OJ in the white bronco on the LA freeway

I will agree with that!

And maybe the funniest car chase scene ever was in "Raising Arizona"...that old man screaming makes me cry every time.
