Just got finished watching a couple of shows about "The Ice Man" Richard Kuklinski.

The guy was an absolute stone cold mob killer. He sits there and deadpans while telling about how he shot this guy twice in the head, or just killed this guy on Christmas Eve because he owed him $1,200 or some random dude to show a mobster, Roy DeMeo, he could kill on command. How he cut corpses into pieces, refined his trade to include dressing in drag to poison some guy in a night club in a manner to mimic a heart attack.

Meanwhile, he marries and has three kids and lives the complete double life for twenty five years.

Kuklinski is without a doubt a complete psychopath. Dead eyes, revelling in his own demonic deeds with a complete lack of compassion. The man is evil incarnate and of the same basic moral level and personality of a Saddam Hussein. BUT like a rubber-necker to a train wreck, I am drawn to watch the story.

I think this may have originally been on HBO. Has anyone else seen it ("it" is actually two shows)? Any BOTL from Bergen County, NJ, have any perspective on this guy?

Ya, I saw this a couple weeks ago on another forum I go to. Unbelievably creepy to watch him talk so callously about killing people.

yea, quite an interesting character. I saw it on a non-premium cable channel. maybe a & e; and it was split into a few shows.

Saw the original on HBO...very interesting, to say the least.

I watched a show on him a while ago, although i only seen about half of it he is a very interesting person in a special way

The documentaries are very interesting.
When he started talking about his family he started to tear up and said that his only regret was that he couldn't be a better father to his family. I cannot speak for all his kids but his son Duane is a really nice guy. He seems to be well adjusted You would never think that his dad was RK.
But THE STORIES he can tell.....
RK was killed in prison. Poisoned I believe.

Anita has read the book as well. We saw it on A&E. I know what ya mean Tim. We just sat there and watched. Didn't talk much, just kinda said whew thats something. The only remorse was the shame he brought to his family, other than that, nothing. Anita told me alot about the book, but until I saw his face as he told what and how he carried out these deeds, I didn't get what she was talking about. The documentary just scrapes the surface.

Kuklinski was killed/Died in Prison as he was set to testify against Sammy the Bull for ordering him to murder a corrupt police officer.

He was one sick dude and not someone you would want to meet in a dark alley. What made him really dangerous was that he killed so casually. It meant nothing too him to kill someone. God only knows all the people that nut killed. I hope he's some place real warm right now.

This is a very interesting individual. I watched a couple programs on him but I'm looking forward to buying a book on him.

I've been fascinated by this guy for a few years now. Loved the HBO documentaries especially where the renouned psycologist interviews and pisses him off.
