I've been following "The Dark Knight" production since it was first announced... it looks like its going to be even better than "Begins".

Yes, Heath Ledger is playing the Joker but that pic is NOT a real one. It was debunked over at AICN some time ago. Still, can't wait to see this. Aaron Eckhart is also attatched to the flick as Harvey Dent but for some ungodly reason they cast Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes (BARF). I can't stand that girl.

Anyway, the first teaser trailer should be attatched to the previews of the new Harry Potter flick so if you're itching to see it go see the new Harry Potter in July.

I'm not a fan of Heath Ledger but if he plays the role right I think he'll be able to pull off a good performance.

And for all you other movie geeks out there... this is the ONLY confirmed pics of Heath as the Joker.. all the other ones have been proven to be fakes. I reapeat these are the ONLY real pics available as of now.

I not much of a Ledger fan either. We will see if he can pull it off.

I mentioned this before, but I always thought Johnny Depp would make a great Joker. I also would like to see a Batman movie done by Frank Miller

A Frank Miller version would be AWESOME!!! Don't think we'll see it but it would be wicked killer.

This will be one of those long-running threads however as Dark Knight isn't slated for release until 08. I just actually found out some disappointing news though, the teaser trailer that's attatched to the Harry Potter flick won't actually have any visual clips from the movie in it (at least that's the news as of right now). Its only going to be audio from the movie to the imagery of a falling deck of cards that lands... you guessed it... on The Joker.

More fun news from the set of "The Dark Knight". Apparently the director, Chris Nolan, is shooting some of the action scenes in IMAX format.... SWEET!!

Having been able to see 300 in IMAX I really wish more directors would take this approach, I know its more costly but the look and feel of it is immensely better than conventional film.

Its been a good while since I've actually anticipated a movie, but this one should be interesting. The original Batman has always been one of my favorites because of Nicholson's Joker. I actually think Ledger could do a really good job with this.


Somehow I can just imagine the Joker telling Batman, "I wish I could quit you."
