Sopranos Finale - What Will Happen?

WTF was up with that ending. I guess it was the only logical way to end the series. Knowing that everybody would be coming out with all kinds of wild speculation as to how the series would end, Chase decides to end it without creating controversy. At least it allows us to hold onto the characters based on their development over the course of the series rather than tearing down their image(s) with an unexpected ending.

That was pretty damn surprising. I thought I had lost the TV signal for a second there.

That ending SUCKED, there is no other way to say it. In fact the whole last episode SUCKED!!! What a horrible disappointment, at least for me. However, I still say, this last episode will lead into a major, big screen movie!

If you want a different ending, wait for the DVD's. It's all about a future major motion picture like Johnny said and to sell the last season DVD's.

I didn't like the ending.

1. Maybe they did it for the movie
2. It ended differently for each person. Medow is pregnant? Tony gets whacked by the Russian in the restroom...

What happens when you die? Everything goes black? Who knows

I have to say I was damn surprised by that ending. When Phil got whacked, my only response is.. well that's that.

The last episode seemed to drag in certain points, but definately leaves to much speculation on the next chain of events.

The build-up at the end then just black irritated me last night, but now it makes sense.

My friend had speculated they were going to do something ambiguous and lame like they did.

That episode was like finally having sexy time with Jessica Alba, only to find out she has a pee-pee.

Oh and it's bigger than yours.

I think everyone was thinking the same thing. That or "who the F*** sat on the remote!"

At first I was disappointed with the ending. After hearing several people talk about it today, maybe it was the right way to go. Among all the points of view I've heard today, the best came from someone on talk radio. He said Tony talked about getting killed in a previous episode -- When you get whacked its going to end so abruptly, you won't even see it coming. That's exactly what happened to all of us last night. We got WHACKED!
