I was going to but I work that day. I can't justify calling in a 24 hour shift just to go the festival.
Otherwise I would be there in a HEART BEAT! |

Well looks l will have one my my best friends and fellow BOTLs coming down to stay the weekend. Which means....I am calling into work saturday and going to the festival! woohoo!!! LOL
I will be going early...probably get there around 9:30am see everything try to do everything before it gets to hectic. Then maybe just have lunch and another cigar or something. ~Eddie |

Ok is this a pretty big event? I was looking at the website and it looks pretty cool. Is is an all day event? Reason I ask is because i think it might be cool to go to if I can find a cheap air ticket and a cheap rental car.
How far from Ybor city is the airport?

Stogie,
Ybor is about 12-15 miles from the airport. The event is great, but I don't know that there's enough to warrant flying into Tampa and renting a car. The Festival covers a square block or so, with a lot of vendor tents, and a stage where Cigar Dave will perform. All of the major Tampa B&M's, including Bucanero and Fuente, have tents and it's a lot of fun to wonder around and chat with everyone. Mike |
