Technically, it is a 60 y.o. scotch. It was aged for 60 years and scotch doesn't age in the bottle. Still, that's over the top. I've had 30, 35, and 40 y.o.o Macallans and they were good, but nowhere near good enough for that price. I doubt that even a collector would value it that high, since I've seen bottlings from the late 1800s go for barely $5K.

As an aside, a friend who has one of the largest private scotch collections on the west coast insists that the rebottling will have damaged the flavor by introducing a new air mixture. Dunno about that.
