Jim Beam® Marinade
4 oz. Jim Beam® bourbon
2 oz. Balsamic vinegar 2 oz. Honey 1 oz. Soy sauce 2 T. Extra virgin olive oil 1 Garlic clove, finely minced 1 shallot, finely minced Combine all ingredients in a medium size jar, shake well and chill for 1 to 2 days before using. © A. J. Di Liberti 2006

Got any Jack Daniels marinade recipes? I have this little half pint of JD that I bought for some cooking adventure a while back, but I forgot what it was for. I would just drink it, but meh I can't drink whiskey out of such a tiny bottle... I'd feel like a wuss.

Well I figured as much, but it just seemed that this recipe might benefit more from a bourbon whiskey over a Tennessee whiskey
I guess I sort of just lost my head for a minute and couldn't put one and one together. I shall try this tomorrow, and I'll post back with some results. |
