My St. Paddy's day cooking adventure

Starting today some friends and I are going to be pre-cooking 200 lbs. of Guinness corned beef, 70 lbs of chicken and 20 pans of shepherd's pie. Tomorrow we will cook 2+ cases of red potato's, 4+ cases of cabbage, re-heating corned beef, heating the shepherd's pie and grilling the chicken. I hope I get a chance to smoke a couple sticks and try not to get drunk. We are cooking to raise funds to help Brothers in our trade who are sick and injured and cannot work.

Well I've been screwing that up for years. I can't grill without a beer in hand. Seriously, the meat just sits there.

Yea, don't get me wrong. Drink in hand while manning the coals is essential. Just not being St. Paddy's day drunk and in front of flames.
