Cherry Marnier?

Hi all,

I enjoy an occasional glass of Grand Marnier, which is orange-based. Looking at a little flyer that came with a bottle of Grand Marnier (don't recall if it was with something I bought or if I just found it somewhere), it made reference to Cherry Marnier.

I have never been able to find this for sale in the US or online. Where is this stuff available, assuming it's still being made?

Re: Cherry Marnier?

If it did come on the bottle it could be a mix. Many bottles come with recipes, it could be a mix of cherry juice with the orange liquer. Just a thought. Check out their website and look at recipes.

Re: Cherry Marnier?

Try a bit of Countreau. Pronounced "Qwan-tro", it's an orange liquor basically a smooth and tasty triple sec.

Cointreau was the first liqueur I ever tried, when I was in France nineteen years ago. Brought back a bottle of it and I still get it every now and then. Orange with a hint of lemon to it.
