Ferreira Vertical | Port P***
On Saturday, we had a Ferreira Vertical, as you can see there was a lot of port for 5 people to drink!
On Friday, we had a preamble that included 1950 Grahams, 1963 Fonseca, and 1963 Croft. As for cigars for the vertical (after the note taking) I had a Fundadores and Partagas SdC No. 1. This is the first time I have smoked them back to back, and I can say the Fundadores is much nicer cigar, although I like both a lot.

Re: Ferreira Vertical | Port P***
Whoa! Did it take you all day Sunday to recover? Pardon my newb Port question, but why do the bottles look like the necks were hacked?
I know some bottles are opened with a sabre, but surely this isn't something you practice.

Quote:
The necks were hacked with port tongs to preserve the cork for identification.
