I, too, have never had the Highland Park scotch whisky. However, I have heard glowing remarks about it. The listing for Highland Park at Whisky Magazine gives reviews of the different offerings. The least expensive is the 12-year version and is highly recommended with a rating of "9" out of 10 by Jim Murray, commenting that it is "a 12 year old classic". You should find this bottle for about $30-40. Where you can get it, I'm not much help there.
Incidentally, the Scotchast podcast will be reviewing the Highland Park 12 Year in their upcoming April episode. I think you should beat them to the punch. Now, I'm going to have to go find some of this for my collection. Thanks for suggesting it! ![]() |
