first mojito of the summer
It is offically summer for me, now that I made the first mojito of the season. A little too much lime juice, but not bad. Gotta love the mint in the backyard.

Love me some mojitos!
I believe that the mojito is every bartender's least favorite drink to prepare - sticky, messy, lots of grinding and effort goes into making them. I like to have one on special occasions when I'm out. What cigar did you choose to go with your mojito?  |

Not just any mint will do. It has to be spearmint.
 My "mojito mint" is ready to harvest as well. Thanks for reminding me  Drink up!

I need to get some mint in my container garden!
Right now I 'cheat'... I use the mojito mix and add rum and club soda. Not like the real deal - but still refreshing and delicious!

Try substituting ginger beer for the club soda sometime.
