Nuts, Seeds?
What are your favourite nuts and seeds to snack on or top dishes with?
I personally love to snack on roasted and salted pumpkin seeds, raw cashews, and raw brazilian nuts. I love topping salads with roasted/salted sunflowers. What do you guys like? I went to an international mart today and saw that they had probably two dozen different types of seeds and nuts so I will be back to try some. Some interesting ones- Iranian Pistachios (different than the usual Californian ones), watermelon seeds and Turkish Pistachios.

Cashews for snacking. Walnuts, pecans, and almonds for topping off dishes or for use with certain recipes.

Sunflower seeds. Little League season is starting up, tryouts today. Jim Beam seeds are the bomb.

Raw Cashews with black salt, white vinegar and hot chilies is an Indian snack that is great.

I am a freak with sunflower seeds. I'll eat at least a pound every week. Just the plain, lightly salted ones, no flavors.

Pine nuts are my all time fav. You can cook with them, use as a topper (salads) and I love to just eat them! Then the runners up would be cashew and macadiamia.
