Trader Joe's Reserve 2006 (beer)

Public service announcement:

I just got back from Trader Joe's and I feel like I made a great discovery. I'm probably the last person to realize this, but hey, just in case someone else didn't know this:

Trader Joe's Reserve beers are made by Unibroue... you know, that "fancy-schmancy" French Canadian brewery that charges a fortune for very good beer. Trader Joe's is asking only $5 for a 750mL. I went a little crazy and bought four. But if you like the Belgian style beers you know that's a pretty darn good deal.

Ya, that stuff is a real find. Cheaper than their Unibroue labelled beers. I bought 4 last year that I aged for this season and there were excellent. Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to pick up some more to age for next year. I think they could go 3 years.

I have a magnum of Anchor's Christmas Brew that ages in the bottle from 2004. My intent was to open in on the next Pat's Super Bowl, as I put a Pats sticker on the bottle. So close this season.
