yep, liquorice, sambuca, ouzo type stuff (hate the taste personally)
however the 70-80% spanish stuff, i've tried actually feels like its evaporating in your mouth  andy

I have had a couple of Czech varieties. Hi ALcohol. Tastes like licorice and other stuff. Very interesting drunk even if the thujone content is low.

Yes I have.
If you really want to know more information please pm me and I can point you in the right direction. There is a lot of bad info on the web and I have done a lot of reaserch and ordering. I have had the good and the bad stuff so I can help you if you ever want to try quality and not get ripped off of ppl with junk. just take a look at my avatar. Btw Drinking some Jade Absinthe right now!

I had the American version (with Southern wormwood, not the real stuff) last new years and enjoyed the bite it had. Not an easy drink, but very different than what I usually drink. Would LOVE to try the version that is banned here in the states.

i've always wanted to try the stuff. there was some kind of a gb that was forming a while ago that never materialized unfortunately. love how the bottles look, the ritual when making the drink.
