Re: Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3)
I haven't got this one yet. Got a perfect 10 rating from gamespot. Was only the 5th game of all time to get a perfect 10. I been playing GTA since I was little (use to be an arcade style game with a little guy running around from a sky view). When they decided to re-do the series, the first few were awesome. Vice City was such a great game. San Andreas added onto the features and assets of the game.
What kills it though is they are just kind of repetitive and the graphics don't really improve much. |

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3)
I loved GTA III, which was the first of the 3-D versions of the games with modern graphics, interactive storyline, and roleplaying. I also played GTA and GTA2 (on PC), the top-down 2-D versions of the game. They had their own kind of charm.
I have GTA IV on Xbox 360 and I have to say I like the PC interface better. Regardless, it's kind of a fun game, but has some flaws. Too much emphasis on social interaction for my taste. I ususally skip the in-game cinematics. The biggest gripe I have with GTA IV (at least on the x-box platform) is the GPS is crappy for some of the missions, often leading you to a brick wall, or to the wrong side of a building, and you end up replaying the mission over and over trying to figrure out what the hell you are supposed to do. Frustration ensues, and I end up just quitting in disgust. |
