Re: GOW 2

I borrowed GOW1 from a coworker and liked it, with reservations. It really felt like it was missing 4-5 levels. It seemed to end quite abruptly. Also, the jump in degree of difficulty of the the rest of the game (pretty easy) to the final boss (WTF?!??) was just ridiculous. I'll check it out before too long, though.

I new I should have not traded GOW 1 in at Gamestop, they gave me a lousy $5.50 for the trade in. I rather giive it away, then give it to Gamestop.

We should have a game swap/trade/give away sticky here at puff.

I don't game but why don't you guys set up a cigar/game pass? The person who sets it up puts in some cigars and also some games he may not play as much anymore. Then the next person does puts and takes just as in a regular pass and so on down the line.

Sounds like the gamers here could have some fun with it.

Re: GOW 2

I had it on PS2, But here the 360 and ps3 version are way better

Overall is pretty similiar to the first Few old enemies, few new. Some of the sepcial moves are different and some of the powers. I enjoyed the story line and a few crazy puzzles.. Over all a slight improvement over the first. Prepare to waste you entire weekend. it is like a can of pringles

I do believe they are referencing Gears of War and not God of War (both awesome games I have heard though).

Gears 2 has some kickass chainsaw battles as well as some cool new weapons. The only crappy thing is that they decreased the power of the shotty so if you play online a lot, I would not recommend the use of it LOL!

Stupid acronyms. hahahah see whathappens when you have nothing to do at work before a long weekend..you don't pay attention lol

Gear 1 froze my best mans 360. had to ship it out to TX and it took 3 months to get it back. needless to say he traded it in for a ps3

Well pick up God of War anyway it's a lot of fun...Gears is something I think would play as well. I was more of a gran turismo and socom

If you like Socom, you should try Call of Duty Modern Warfare (the newer one is okay but they keep making WWI and WWII ones). There is supposed to be another coming out in Oct that is another modern one...Freakin' sweet. Some fools are gonna get pwned!! haha

I play the orignal three CoD's I like Brothers in Arms better due to its historical accuraccy (I majored in histroy) I heard good things about modern warfare. I haven't had a game system in almost two years now.

Re: GOW 2

Gears of War has always had a very vulgar, aggressive, and immature community online from my experience (this is generally the same for Halo and CoD) so I generally stay offline, but the Campaign is good, though the story does leave much to be desired, Co-Op is also quite fun.
