Experiences with Cheapercigars.com

I'll be placing a big order soon and cheapercigars.com has the best price on every box on my list. How do these guys stack up in quality of service? Do their cigars arrive in good shape?

I've ordered a few boxes from these folks. Everything always arrives in perfect order. The only problem I've had is when they back order stuff on you. It will show available online but really they are out of stock on the item. They have a live chat feature on there site. Use it! I always will verify with them first that an item is in stock before I order. It's kind of cool tho because they also have a live webcam in the humi so when you call to have them check on an item you can watch them go into the humi and check on the stock.

California to Florida is a long trip standard shipping wise. They got them to me a day before the estimated arrival which was nice. Prices were very good as well. Package came in great shape.

Yep. I had this issue just a couple weeks ago, but otherwise their service is great and my orders always arrive on or before the scheduled times.


Oh also, they actually ship from their warehouse in Arizona, not the shop in Palm Springs... Something to do with avoiding the high CA taxes on cigars..

Oh also if you're ordering anything from the Arturo Fuente Hemingway line from them you might want to call and check... As of a week or two ago they were out of a couple sizes.

I got my last box of CAO Criollo Pampas from them. Box arrived quickly and the cigars were in good shape.

They have a killer deal on AF Don Carlos this week for those on their mailing list, and great prices on the GH Corojo #5 for everyone.

They seem to have good prices overall. I ordered 4 boxes about a month ago. Two were in stock and shipped right away. They backordered the other 2. I got one last week, and the last one is on it's way now. Everything so far has arrived in great condition. They've been added to my favorites for repeat business.

Several months back I had the same problem. The website doesn't tell you when a cigar is not in stock. Using the live chat feature sounds like a great idea. In my case, I found out about there was a two week backorder after the fact. I decided to cancel my order. In hindsight, glad I didn't buy those londen clubs! Ended up buying something from JR, which proved to be an excellent vendor.

Yep, I'm finding though that sometimes if you want the absolute best prices, you have to be a little flexible as far as stuff like that.

I hear ya man. Sometimes though, I just want my cigars in two days!!!! If I could just build up a larger stock, a two week backorder might be more tolerable. Your point is still well taken, Cheapercigars.com does have awesome pricing.

I'm wondering if I should order from AtlanticCigar.com instead since they're not too far from me. If they'll match prices and ship my order for free like cheapercigars (order will be over $300) then I'll go with Atlantic.

So what about AtlanticCigar? I'd appreciate any feedback.

I'd go with whoever could give me the best price with the least amount of back ordered goods. I’ve used both and they are honest vendors. I’ve just learned that it’s always good to have them check stock before I give up my credit card #. I hate being disappointed when I find out some or all of my order can’t be filled. This being after I have gone thru the process of giving up all my info then finding out the next day that it’s not going to happen. But maybe that’s just me…………….
