Re: Habanos Poster from GB Question
Don't get a glass pane for it, and don't get solid hardwood framing material.
I got an off-size banner framed at Michael's for around $80. They wanted to actually frame it with decent materials, but I made sure they understood that I wanted a plastic/metal/MDF frame with sheet acrylic "glass." The only reason it was $80 is because they had to special order a piece of sheet acrylic long enough.

Re: Habanos Poster from GB Question
I was in the original group buy for the Habanos poster. Went to a local arts and crafts place called "Hobby Lobby" here in Omaha.
Had the poster spray mounted on foam board first (to stiffen the actual poster and help prevent future damage), then had the metal custom frame put around it with a piece of real glass (not acrylic, but not fancy non-glare). Size ended up at 40 inches high by 32 inches wide. The poster is actually slightly taller than that, so some had to be trimmed off to fit since the 40 inch side was the longest they had in stock. They did all of this full service in the shop for less than $60. Whatever anyone wants to do with this poster is fine, but I thought it deserved a better life than just being held up on the wall with scotch tape. It's not quite an art piece to me, so I didn't think getting a fancy wood frame was good either. And so a simple black metal frame it was... Here's two pictures of it mounted! Another big thanks to Jeremy for running that group buy!!! ![]() ![]()

Re: Habanos Poster from GB Question
Depending on how severe the damage is and how you get it mounted/framed. I find that the spray mount on foam board does a very nice job.
I had some bent edges on mine but they were trimmed off during the mounting process.
