In our area the only distributor is supposedly "The Cigar Shoppe" up on 400 in Cumming, GA. The guys a peach to deal with and will do nothing online. I've been there several times but he has yet to get them. As of 12-08-07.

CI in Pa. had them at their B&M a couple of weeks ago-They had a Drew Estate Day and an Liga Privada #9 introduction.

They seem to have come . . . and gone. There weren't many of them and they didn't last long. You might get lucky and find some lurking in some B&M, but I wouldn't hold my breath!

I got a flyer from a dealer some time ago, jumped right on it and they were.....gone!!!

I must have missed this announcement or something, but... what are these? and why are they so sought after?

I just picked up two today in the only dealer in Rhode Island.
Very nice looking cigar with a great pre-light aroma.
Unfortunately the taste is only average at best.
The shop owner said many customers have found it to be "unremarkable".
He says others claim it's the best cigar they've ever had.
I gotta say that the former are correct. Straight forward tobacco flavor with a dry papery taste with a little white pepper spice thrown in.
Very dark grey to black ash with a slightly crooked burn.
Looking at the foot you can see many different shades of tobacco.
Prehaps with some aging these will develop into something better.
Absolutely not worth the $10 plus price tag.

I really wanted these to be a kick ass 5-7 dollar cigar, because I think Drew Estate does a great job with full bodied traditional blends (read: LVH-EY). A broadlfeaf ligero wrapper sounds awesome on paper, but then I found out they were 10.00 or more a stick............ huh, thats well over DPG JJ maduro and PAM territory..... Still like to give one a shot though, but I'm not going to kill myself trying.
