Taking a few sticks to Vegas, How to store?

Hello my fellow BOTL!!! I have not posted here in a while but I still have my interest in cigars. Since my last pos, I still have about 60 or so ISOM's (some are definately fugazzi others not) and they have all been resting in my humi for a little more than a year now. I actually just finished a Trinidad Reyes and after they have sat in there for a while I can really say that those are some mighty fine cigars!! I got these from a different source than the other fugazzi's and also purchased a 5 pack of Cohiba Siglo VI's and in my newbie opinion those were the smoothest best tasting cigars I have ever had.

Well anyways, here is my question. I will be going to vegas for the weekend pretty soon and I want to take a few sticks with me. I do not know what would be the best way to transport these and still keep them fresh. I don't have any travel humidors or anything like that. Is there anything I can use to help keep them fresh until I smoke them?? Please help me out here fellas!! thanks in advance for your opinions.

Ziplock bag or Tupperware with a humi pack in it might work . If you dont have a humi pack, check your B&M most Fuente boxes have them . or Buy a Humi BAG at the B&M .

+1 on the humi pack.

If you can't find one put the cigars in an open zip lock bag, then place this bag in another larger zip lock with a slightly damp (not wet) cotton ball or cloth. Seal only the outer bag, and viola, you just made a humi pack. For more security you can place the bag in a cigar box to prevent your smokes from getting crushed.

Enjoy your trip.

PS...cigar prices in Vegas are ridiculously high, so beware.

Yup, the ziploc bag will do just fine for a long weekend trip.
If you're concerned about possible crushing, then get a plastic storage container in rectangular shape (cheap at a supermarket) & put the ziploc bag in it. You can then put the moist cotton ball or paper towel in the bottom of the plastic container instead of a second ziploc.

Have a great trip!

PM me for my address.

Once you have that, overnight the sticks to me. On receipt, I will carefully package most of your ISOMS, individually and hermetically sealled in hi-tech, moisture and air proof plastic storage bags.

Under these conditions, your cigars will maintain their current humidity level for up to 3 months.

If you include your address, I will probably return the sticks to you within a few days.

Glad to help!

I've been using my Herf a dor, they have a small humi device inside. Plus they are crushproof. I also have a 10ct cedar lined box, it worked out perfect as well.

Totally agree. In less your cigars are already dried out, there's no reason to worry about their RH if you keep them in a ziplock for just a day or two.

Peter, this is a must!

Now, I was just in Vegas several days ago. Go to Ceasars Palace to Casa Fuente as mentioned in this thread. I smoked a Forbidden and it was great, just a bit pricey. Then again you can only get them at a AF Event or store, and occassionally at a few select B&Ms across the country. The God of Fires were good, but to impressive. I still like the Anejo line better IMHO. However, they had a box of Casa Fuente house brand churchills that had a ton of plume and that particular smoke was about $23 and it blew everything and anything in the store. The employees are not too knowlegable on cigars and I educated them on what the difference was between mold and plume. Not to mention, the waitresses are smoking hot in semi-see-thru skirts and g-strings
