I picked up a couple from the dollar bin at my local B&M before my surgery. Not as bad as some sticks that I have smoked, but I am not sure that I would go out and pay full price for one, but thats just my 0.02. YMMV!

BTW, I think they were Seires Gs, but do not remember.

They are pretty good, but I can think of other cigars around that price that I would rather have.

Sancho Panza, SP Double Maduro or SP Extra-Fuerte depending on tastes for around $2 a piece. 5 Vegas 'A', Joya de Nicaragua Antaņo 1970, Excalibur 1066, Oliva Serie G can be had right around $3. Cheap bundles that I like are Fumadores and Little Havana Overruns from Holts. Can't beat ~$2 Pepins.

I am sure there are more good cheap smokes but I can't think of any that I have had. Try txmatt's post here.

I picked up a Three Pack of the Series G short robusto, 4 1/4 x 50... I wanted a quick smoke, I wish more cigars came in this size. I've only smoked one, enjoyed it.. @ 3.50 a stick I was pleased.

I really like the Serie G. I think they are very much like the La Gloria Series R cigars just a little less expensive

I've only smoked the Cuban coronas, and wasn't too impressed. A sickly, spicy stick... but I might have just caught it at the wrong time.

Never had the Honduran versions!

Re: Saint luis rey what do you think?

I have had several given to me in bombs. All were very good sticks. Not good enough to displace my favorites, but certainly good enough to buy if my favorites were not available.
