La Aroma de Cuba
Has anyone tried this line? My tobacconist can't get any right now. JR's said they can get them soon, but don't have any in stock and will not be selling singles. I am at a loss. I'd like a description if someone could post a small brief review. A friend of mine across the pond tried one and said it was superb, but never went into what superb meant.
Any info would be gladly appreciated. -Justin |

RE: La Aroma de Cuba
We reviewed them last month at T25C, you can read our review there. Also the T25C Review Database has been getting quite a bit of reviews on them.
personally, I didn't think much of them.

Ive found that my local store has the corona, robusto, and churchill. Ive tried the corona and churhill with surprising results. They are on the medium side, but full of flavor. They are a bit one dimensional thought, kinda like my beloved R+J, but i still really like them. They kinda have an earthy taste with some coffee and cocoa in the mix. The burn on the ones i bought was right on the money, and the cigar never got hot, smoked them past the band. The smoke was nice and thick, the aroma was fantastic too. All in all, i think they are a wonderful cigar if your not looking for complexity. They are one of my new favorites.

I've been trying alot of new cigars lately. I picked up a Churchill of this brand a couple weeks ago. From what I tasted of it, it was not bad flavor. Made by the same people who brought you Ashton (and related brands), but it was also extremely plugged. Tried using a poker several times to no avail. Haven't gotten a chance to try another one yet.
