Stolen Mail Parcels

Hello all. I am strongly considering ordering from 2guyssmokeshop.com, there policy is that they will not falsify declaration of whats in the package and list it as cigars. Thats fine with me, but i have just read a post that packages that gets labeled as cigars have a pretty good chance of getting stolen. Theres always postal insurance, but i figure i would ask on this if anyone has had any experiences with parcels sent to Canada labelled as cigars getting stolen, does it happen frequently and possible solutions. Thanks and peace.

Not sure on them getting stolen, but I think you will have to pay some kind of customs tax on cigars if they know its cigars. I may be wrong though.

I don't like any markings on my parcels thats just increasing the risk. I'm sure it doesn't happen a lot but i've heard of it before.

I have ordered from them before.

Never a problem. They guarantee anyway.

Ive never heard of packages getting stolen coming into Canada, but you stand a very good chance of paying tax and duty if they list the contents as cigars. At least see if they will list the value at $15 or less. That may get them to you at no charge or little charge.

I calculated the amount of duty/taxes i will have to pay and found that its still less than if i bought the cigars here in Canada.

Re: Stolen Mail Parcels

This is my biggest fear since I buy mostly online. I just moved into the city and I my apartment is on a somewhat busy street. I've yet to have anything stolen but with all the foot traffic coming right past my (short) driveway...

I know in the US you can request signature delivery or something where they hold it at the post office unless you sign for it.

Short, sweet and to the point.
There are many better alternatives for purchasing cigars online with a Canadian delivery address.

I would call their phone number and ask for Dave, and ask him. Dave Garafolo is the owner. Great guy to talk to.
