Re: Cigar Magazine

Great thread, I was going to post a similar question but this has helped me.

I read CA as it is the only Cigar mag available here in Oz, or at least that I can find in Perth anyway. I don't have anything to compare it with so I can't comment on which is better.
I do enjoy CA even though it is full of fluff, the articles have some interest, it's like reading about what the "other half" live like, I could never afford half of the crap they put in there but I finding interesting all the same and I just take it for what it is.... fluff mostly.

I would like some more comments on Smoke Mag, Euro Cigar Cult and this Cigar Mag. Is info about Cigar Mag available on JR's website?

I plan on subscribing to some of these mags once we move into our new house we're building and don't have to change address..... again so any info would be appreciated.

BTW, Cigar.com
has what seems to be a quite good newsletter which is almost a mag, I have only just subscribed and had a quick scan through but it looks alright, if you haven't already, you may want to check it out.

Re: Cigar Magazine

I've read a couple copies of cigar aficionado. Seems to be like GQ. Too much content not related to Cigars. Cigar Magazine has more content that I'm interested in. I enjoy the articles about the industry and the people who have made it what it is today. I also feel the reviews are to be trusted more. I take the reviews and the reviews from this site to give me a better idea on what sticks to buy and try in my next purchase.
