Cuban Crafters Salute to Arms

If anyone was thinking of picking one of these up as a gift...don't..

http://www.cubancrafters.com/products.php/item_id/17

I ordered the Marine Corp edition from CC total cost was about $70 for their "humidor box" and 25 dog rocket church hills. The guy I'm giving them to isn't really a cigar smoker but he was a Marine and loves anything Marine Corp related so I figured this would be a nice gift.

Arrived today, the "humidor" is a stapled together box, there is a painted Marine Corp logo on the lid with a piece of paint chipped off and marks where the paint made runs. The inside of the humidor is supposed to have a logo inside there but its a piece of paper. Literally a piece of black paper with the logo printed on it and stuck inside the lid. It bows out, the paper isn't even cut to fit correctly.

Cigars are presented decently thats about the only good thing. For $70 I didn't expect a lot but a nicer made box would've made all the difference. I got about $25 dollars worth of smokes in a box for $70. For a "humidor box" it certainly didn't include a humidification device either.

Thanks Cuban Crafters. /sarcasm

Saw it at my B&M and said, this looks cheesy. As much love as i have for our military considering my family is mostly veterans, it looked mediocre at best.

There is a red ribbon around the smokes. The only good thing about the box was the cigars look nice. The rest of the box looks like a 5 year old put it together. No offense to 5 year olds.

Will do. I need to pick him up a humi tube but there's no room in the box so maybe I'll burn one to see if they're total crap. Right now the smokes are in my humidor because they had a good few days journey from Florida. Live and learn, for the cost I could've bought him a 50-100 count newbie humidor and accessories.

Re: Cuban Crafters Salute to Arms

I would call cuban crafters as their customer service is supposedly top notch and let them know how you feel. Bet they take care of you big time........ also, four words when it comes to cuban crafters "Don Kiki Brown Label".
