Jr's Weekly Special... Belinda Blacks
Just got this in my email. I know a few of you guys happen to enjoy the Belinda Blacks..
If I've posted this in the wrong forum I apologize. Wasn't sure if it should go here or to the retail forum. JR Weekly Special: Belinda Black Valid thru Midnight, Wednesday, June 1, 2005, while supplies last. The Belinda Black is made with an extra-dark, sun-drenched Media Tiempo wrapper from the Connecticut River Valley married to a ligero-laced recipe of the classic Belinda, creating a much bolder cigar. Tastes of creamy espresso and nuts punctuate this lush stogie's flavor, and its smoke will captivate your senses. Cigar Magazine touts Belinda Black as a "best value" in a medium-to-full-bodied maduro. Add another five cigars free and they cost as little as $1.40 apiece! Belinda Black Free 5 Pack of Belinda Epicures (EMS) with the purchase of any box listed here: Frontmark Qty Size MSRP JR Price 1835 20 7.25 x 46 $55.00 $39.00 Cubanos 20 5.65 x 46 $50.00 $35.00 Epicure No. 5 20 5.00 x 50 $50.00 $35.00 Exquisito 20 6.00 x 50 $55.00 $39.00 Prominente 20 7.00 x 50 $65.00 $45.00

Re: Jr's Weekly Special... Belinda Blacks
Belinda Blacks are great sticks for the money, but the listed price is what I am used to paying for the Epicure #5. Perhaps the "weekly special" is the free 5 pack?
JRs description makes them sound much stronger than they are. The stick is a little spicy and extremely aromatic; those you who are "nose smokers" (or put your head on the oven ) Should give the cigars a try.I haven't tried the natural yet and have been meaning to. They come in cedar sleeves even at that low price. The sticks are made in the same factory by the same rollers as ERDM. A great inexpensive cigar IMO. -Matt- Quote:

Re: Jr's Weekly Special... Belinda Blacks
I get the weekly special too, and considered a box. I have never tried the Belinda Blacks, but the Belinda Excellente naturals are respectable if not mind blowing. I think I'll hold off though unless I see some very positive feedback before next Wed.

Re: Jr's Weekly Special... Belinda Blacks
I bought a sampler of the blacks and found they're very close in the flavor department to the Padron 2000's. Maybe I'm just crazy though. hehe.
