Thompsons NEVER AGAIN

Saw an e-mail deal from Thompson's for [SIZE=3]CAO Italia Ciao for $79.00. A very good price so I decided to break down and order from them.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]So I went to their website to see what else they had. It is the worst cigar retailer site I have seen. They list everything in the world, but when you click on something half the stuff is not available.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]I finally found a four pack of [/SIZE][SIZE=3]CAO Petites with Crillo, Italia, Gold and Brazilia for $40.00. Seemed like a decent price so I added it to the order.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]Come to find out lowest shipping charge is $12.00! This is more then I ever paid for shipping. Seveal places will ship for free if the order is over $100.00, and most charge around $7.00.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]It was still a good deal so I placed the order on 11/6. Well today is 11/12 and the order is still in process, WTF! I do not remember any order from the US taking more then a week to get here.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=3]No telling what shape the order will be in when it gets here, but even if it is perfect I will never order from them again.[/SIZE]

You're better off to call and cancel the order.
I got a 5er that says it hasn't shipped yet.

Anyone/everyone who has every ordered one thing or entered their name on Thompson's website gets bullshit crap in the mail all the time. I've never ordered from them and have a pile of catalogs from the past 8 months

Knew what I was in for when I ordered, but I have this weakness for ordering stogies on sale. It is a vile habit and gets me into trouble all the time!

I would agree with the guys above. Cancel that order, many CS members have dealt with Thompson's terrible customer service and slow delivery times. Im sure if you did a search on thompson's, you would see nothing but pissed off threads and poor reviews.

Been there done that with these guys,,,,so I call em up and complain about pretty much the same thing you said. I told em there is a lot of other retailers out there to get my business and if they want to continue to get mine then they at least have to match the pricing and shipping,,,guess what,,,they did! Sometimes it takes a call and letting them know what you want and threaten them with cancelling your order and doing business with someone else.

I have only orderd from Thompson one time . The shipping time wasn't bad but the Thompson cigars were .

Those guys are clowns. There needs to be a sticky saying stay the hell away from Thompsons.

I haven't ordered from Thompsons in many years, and I still get stuff in the mail from them. If nothing else, they're persistent.

What I can't figure is that given what they charge for shipping, you'd think you'd receive your order in a timely matter. Nope - they literally take weeks to get anything to you.

How they retain their customer base is beyond me.

Since I live in the Show-Me-State I will let this go to the end. They are still within the 7 - 10 business days for the low end shipping.

I will let you know what happens.
