What size are you thinking of? I love the Oliva Serie G Special G maduros, although RASCCs are pretty much becoming my go-to smoke.

If you like RP then I would try Indian Tabac.

Super Fuerte Maduro is my fave.

But their whole line is pretty good IMHO.

Especially if you can put them back for 6 months. They smoke fine fresh out of the box, but you would be amazed at just 6 months of set-up time!

One that debob turned me on to is Don Thomas Sun Grown. Nice flavor, cheap price.

Re: Nice cheap go-to smoke?

As a newbie, I'm liking the Oliva Series G Special G (48 for $87 at Tampa Humidor). Also liking the Evelio's, available from Mom's and JR (25 for $35 in all sizes, I think).

Re: Nice cheap go-to smoke?

The indian tobac super fuerte (by Rocky Patel) is a great smoke. I also second the Padron maddie suggestion. I believe both boxes can be had for around seventy five dollars.

Re: Nice cheap go-to smoke?

The Indian Tabac mentioned earlier has never let me down (except for the Limited Reserve) and I think the Famous Nic 3000 is going to be a keeper as well. I'm also contemplating the Don Kiki Brown Lable that has had favorable reviews here.
