My Continued Adventure with Thompsons (Pics)

Thompsons NEVER AGAIN

After 10 days from the time I ordered I decided to call them and cancel the order. After 10 minutes of the phone number game I gave up and sent them an e-mail asking where my order was since the website still showed it in process.

They claim a response within 24 hours, but after 2 days nothing. So I sent a second e-mail on Friday telling them to cancel my order. Today I get a phone call from Thompson's telling me the order went out 5 days ago. I told them their service was expensive and poor and he responded they could not be responsible for UPS being slow.

I ignored his ignorant response. He then asked me what I liked to smoke and we had a nice chat for a few minutes. He said he would check on the order and make sure it got to me.

Well it did arrive today (two weeks after I placed the order). I cannot believe anyone would ship like this.

I opened the box and there was one air pillow in the box:



I removed the pillow and the paperwork on top and here is what was on the bottom with no packing what so ever:



The CAOs were shown in a box as they usually come. They came in a bag not even bundled.

I removed the cigars from the bag and inspected them. Some how they made it through shipping undamaged. I guess those Italians are tough.

By the way, the Thompson's website still shows my order as in process.

Anyway, I have now experienced Thompson's for myself and can highly recommend not to use them.

Ouch, thanks for the advise. Customer Service that ignorant is never a good sign for any business. Enjoy that GAO gold tin, I like those little suckers for a quick, cheap smoke. They match pretty well with a double chocolate chip from starbucks IMHO.

I like them also! The small CAOs are really good short smokes.

GD you used tompson now try to get off there spam mailing list go on give it a go itull take about 6-7 months it did with me

I feel you're pain--I'm about to have it out with their phone reps, they just now started calling--first 2 weeks ago, now 3 times in a week--luckily haven't had the opportunity to answer the phone yet

This is really amusing. I sent Thompson's an e-mail today to tell them how bad their service was and how none responsive they have been. Well the e-mail got rejected because they did not recognize my e-mail. What a bunch of douche bags!
