Your a good man, showing up at the in-laws for Thankdgiving dinner, I know it was probably tough, but doing it for the kids sake is the RIGHT thing to do.

Amen. Shows real class, something missing from a lot of the world these days. Sounds to me like it will be her loss and not yours.

I know it might not seem that way right now, but these things really do have a way of working out for the best. This time of year is the worst time for the soon-to-be and recently divorced. Come the spring, after the dust has settled, I predict you'll be feeling a lot better about things. Best of luck!

Sean,

My spirits got a boost when I got your package...er, BOMB in the mail today! I posted a reply to the MAW post with a pic.

As a matter of fact, one of those Cusano 18's will be sacrificed tonight with a little Famous Grouch Scotch! I'm splashing a little extra in my tumbler in your honor!

One of the supervisors at our plant in kentucky told me recently that divorce never killed anyone! So, knowing that nothing that will happen is close to that, I guess I'm starting to look forward a little to starting over, getting my sense of humor back, and just working thru it all day by day.

Dont let the unkowns of the future get you down too much... One day at a time is hard enough... you'll land on your feet I'm sure!

I've been praying for you Bro'.

I'm thinking you may need to schedule a businness trip down south for a little herf soon, nothing like some good leaf, and good friends to help get your mind off of things for a little while.

You take care of yourself,
David
David,

Yes, traveling south as winter starts is definately a good plan! I'm atready planning 1st quarter travel, and i know thast I'll be traveling to W TN and AR in January. Look forward to herfing!

I've got to say that many prayers have been offered up for me and I thank you all for thinking of my situation.

A good smoke helps to relax and smooth out the rough patches.

Re: Blues on Thanksgiving

TAKE HEART, my friend that "Practice Makes Perfect."

My first wife and I had a son when I was 26, and she 20. We split after 5 years. I had custody, and went another 3 years, working two jobs, wondering whether I would EVER find a woman capable of loving both me and my son.

Well, my friend, it CAN happen. It hurts alot at first, but it CAN happen!

My second wife (and best friend) celebrated 24 years of marrige this month. We have three grandchildren, and we're both spry enough to keep up with them.

My wife hates it when I fart. I hate it when she spends 20 minutes in the bathroom. I now go into the other room to fart. She now goes into the second bathroom for "primping" (whatever that means).

Keep the faith, bro... Be true to your heart, and you'll find one that matches.
