Everything tastes strange

I have been going nuts latly. I got sick a few weeks ago with a cough and since then nothing has tasted right! Every cigar I smoke has the same strange taste to it and I am going completly insane. Has anyone ever had this happen to them after getting sick? Part of me wants to go whinning to a doctor but what am I going to say? "I got sick and now my cigars don't taste right, fix me!"

I am just going nuts because I have a few very nice cigars that I got during a newbie trade and I really want to try them but can't! It is like forced aging.

It happens quite often to me because of allergies. Anytime your sinus' are acting up, your taste is affected.

I know what you mean. My allergies have been bad for the past couple of weeks and everything taste a little off. I haven't had a cigar in about a week now. Forced aging is a terrible thing. I can't taste much, but I do still stick my head in the humi every couple of days just to hopefully catch a whif.

Yikes! I suppose that does make sense. Right when it stopped raining and we had some sunshine is when it started happening. I get horrible allergies all summer long. I guess it is time to go to the doc and start getting that horrible allergy shot again.

EDIT: When it happens to you do cigars taste gross or just off. Right now they actually taste bad! Gah!

I would have to agree with the guys, the sinuses are still a little messed up. I was hit hard this spring with allergies and I couldn't smell or taste anything for a few weeks. That added to the headaches everyday made me quite unhappy. Its better now though. Just give it a little time.

Ask Da Klugs to send you a cremosa or two - cleared up any 'no taste' problems I was having up to that point.

My sinuses have been crappy for almost a month now. I can hardly smell anything so my taste is way off. Guess it's time for another trip to the Doctors.
