Question Hoyo de Monterrey Majestics Bundles

Does anybody have any opinions on these? I was in JR in Whippany NJ today and saw these. $50 for a bundle of 25. I like the HdM Governors and these were quite a bit cheaper, so I bought 'em (maduros). I'll let them sit in the coolerdor for a bit before I try one.

The staff indicated that these are seconds, but there's no indication of that anywhere on the bundle. I thought that Connies were HdM seconds..do they also make seconds packaged under their own name?

Any experiences/information/opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Is this the one? They should be the same gar just without the box.

I would definately age these some. That has been the most common complaint about these...

Thumbs up Hoyo de Monterrey Majestics Bundles

I really like all of the HdM that I have tried. I really like the maduro cameroon cigars. I went through a box of those boys in no time. Good smoke and reasonably priced.

One of my first cigar purchases was a 5er of the Executive Maduros (7x54)... I haven't smoked one in a while, but they were pretty good for the price from what I remember.

Maybe I missed it but never heard of the Majestic in the Hoyo line. Friend of mine bought the executives on sale and said they did not measure up to the regular double corona they sell..

Jerry in Minnesota.

That is commonly heard about these, but I wonder if that is due to lack of aging or the cedar...Lew has insisted over the years that they are the same cigar without the box? C2000 if you get these report back.... I have thought about robusto several times.
