Anejos - good or bad?
I'm just curious as to the jungle's current opinion on Anejos, since it's that time of year again.

Personally I find them okay, but nothing special. Good construction and a decent smoke like most Fuentes, but I just can't get that excited about them.

Am I in a minority here? I suspect I am.

I'm with ya...they are a fine cigar, but I enjoy the Padron 64s much more than the Anejo. Then again, maybe they just need some aging. Maybe I'll change my mind when I find a 5+ year Anejo!

I think they're very good, but way over-hyped like the Opus X.......Hmmmmm both Fuente brands?

At least Montesinos are still cheap and easy to find!! Shhhhhhh!!!! Don't tell anyone!!

I have had two and both were GREAT cigars. But both were pre clubstogie membership so I will try another one sometime to see if they stand up to my much more refined pallet. (thanks you to bastages )

I like them, but they aren't my favorites. I'd put them somewhere between "selling souls," and "so-so." I try to buy a handful whenever I can, but I'm not suicidal if I can't my paws on any...

With all the truthiness I can muster, I have to say that I'm not all that crazy about them.

In all honesty, of the few Fuente cigars I've tried, I would have to say that the 8-5-8's are my favorite...

Gonna have to try the Opus (which is sitting in my humi) as well as the Short Story (which is also in my humi)..

Oh yeah, I also like the Curly Heads.

I'll probably be trading away the two Anejos I've got for something I really enjoy a lot.
