Re: Recommendation for a medium to full body smoke under $3.

Wow, that's both a tough and easy question. It's tough because cigars are a very subjective subject. What tastes great to me might be poison to you.

Now, having said that, I think that there are some fantastic deals to be had on Cigar Bid. I'd look for Rocky Patel cigars as they are generally regarded by most to be either great to good. I don't think anyone has ever said that they are bad.

The Famous Nicaraguan 3000 from Famous Smoke Shop is also a very good cigar. Lots of nice flavors that will keep you happy when you smoke 'em.

Also, the Factory Seconds from Taboo are really good and inexpensive. At the moment Taboo is having a sale on these and they are selling for $19.99

If you have a Costco near by and your local Costco carries cigars like mine does I would highly recomend the El Rey Del Mundo "Cafe au Lait" for a really good short smoke. By short I mean between 30 to 45 minutes of smoking time.

These are just a few off the top of my head. Keep in mind that prices will vary depending on size and blend.

Anyway, hope this helps you out a bit.

Most definitely either the Punch Rothschilds double maduro or the Hoyo De Monterrey Rothschilds double maduro. Both are short robustos, 4 1/2 X 50.Either one can easily be found at online dealers for around $100-110 for a box of 50 which both come in.
They are both excellent smokes by the way and both, I believe; are better than some of the so called more luxurious or more talked about smokes.

I agree with the Famous Nicaraguan 3000, available at Famous Smoke (when they're in stock), $42/20 Robustos & $46/20 Toros, free shipping and usually a freebie on top of it.

Another good one mentioned here often is 5 Vegas 'A' at Cigars Intl, retail prices are $55/20 Anomoly (Petitie Corona), $69/20 Artisan (Robusto) with a 5-pack freebie thrown in right now. Or you can get them regularly for $2/stick or less on Cigar Bid.

Several folks here tout the Don Kiki Brown Label, available at Cuban Crafters, but I've not had any.

Or you could just check here:

I completely forgot to mention one of the best cigars on the market. It's not only a great cigar but a great value.

What is this myserious cigar you ask. It's the Padron Londres. Without a doubt one of the best cigars in the world. Many folks believe the Londres to have more flavor then any of the larger X000 series.

It gets my

I guess I'd also add the Sol Cubano Maduro Toro to the list. It runs you $2.60 at Cigars International (25 divided by the box price). Love 'em and they're made by Oliva.

Here are four of the best: Gran Habano 5-many sizes are under $60 per box
Maria Mancini Magic Mountain-both wrapers
Joya de Nicaragua Antano Consul-full full
Joya de Nicaragua Celebracion Corona-med/full

This is just a list of some of my favorites, there are too many to list. Just took a quick look in one of the humidors and can suggest the Sancho Panza line and the Indian Super Fuerte either maduro or natural.

Hoyo Dark Sumatra Espresso
Excalibur 1066 Dark Knight III
Fire Corojo Robusto
El Rico Habano Habano Club

All 4 are some of my favorites, and they're all right around $3 or less if you buy by the box.
