We have a B&M here that has a similar attitude, I'm hung between never returning and returning to purchase only single less expensive sticks just to waste their time. Is it wrong for me to do this?

You are still adding to their bottom line - might bother a salesman but if hes good he will bring you around to buying better sticks or a box

I personally fear the day they get rid of perdomos...it would give me nightmares. Of course I like some better than others but the reserve champagne and reserve maduros are excellent. If they stopped making them I would start hoarding boxes for sure.

If people are rude to you at your B&M, I'd say find another one. There's no reason you should have to put up with that. They won't stay in business long if that's how they treat their customers. Customer service is the #1 thing I look for in new employees.

That's my 2 cents...

Re: B&M "Phasing out" Perdomo!!!

Legitimate comments, zmancbr. As a fairly major fan of the Perdomo reserve lines, specifically the champagne, the maduro, the sun grown and the cameroon, I can say that they definitely are not of consistent quality between sizes. Some of the other stuff that they have made in the "economy" end have not been good, but also, the Genuine Counterfeit Cubans are some of my favorites. The Lot 23 are tasty, and the Habano, I'm waiting to try in the next month. On the learning curve, the new releases have been getting consistently better. If you get a chance, try one of the Reserves in either the V or X size; they are very consistent in burn and have some nice flavor changeups; not the easiest to find, though, and really, at full retail, overpriced.

That's my two cents.

Re: B&M "Phasing out" Perdomo!!!

The B&M you went to is not friendly with Perdomo...the Perdomo people are by far the friendliest people in the cigar business...they, like Ashton and Davidoff, have customer service better than any other vendor on the market. Just my thoughts. Also, at the shop I used to prior to moving to Vegas, Perdomos were by far our top sellers, followed by Padron and Gran Habano...we burned through so many Perdomo Frescos it was mind-blowing...Oh, and rude B&M employees give cigar smoking a bad name.....

I will NOT go to that B&M again and I will tell my smokin' buddies not to go either. I am a businessowner and I would never treat ANY customer that way. That is why I was shocked when it happened.
