Finally bought some Old Henrys which I have been wanting to try for some time now and figured I would give them a few days in the humi since they seemed a bit on the wet side and was looking forward to torching my first victim this weekend and BLAMO, Freaking head cold! Now I just have to drug the snot out of myself so I can hopefully kick it by at least Sunday! If not I am going to be one miserable SOB this weekend.

I feel your pain. I've been sick for 2 1/2 weeks and have only had one cigar in that time frame (normally 4-6 a week). Finally went to the doctor and found out I had a sinus and ear infection. Antibiotics are kicking in, so I should be good to go this weekend

...but it's been a long drawn out cold.

I'm there with you. Whole family has the funk, now me. I tried a stogie after work (a cheap one) and knew in about 15 minutes I didn't want any more. Burned my nose and throat. It seems you want a cigar worse when you know you shouldn't/can't have it...

Being under the weather really does suck, especially when you want to light one up.

I've still got a mouth full of stitches from oral surgery last week, and it's getting old real fast. Almost lit up tonight, but figured I'd better wait the week like the Doc said.

Let's have a pity party!!! Who's in?

yeah, I have been fighting a sinus infection for almost a month. Went to the doc today, started the antibotics tonight. I'm still smoking a cigar every 5 or 6 days though.

Feeling your pain, went through the same thing two months ago. Trust me when I say wait until you are 100% before smoking again. I jumped the gun and tried to smoke a couple sticks before I was feeling better and they tasted awful!

Bad taste was probably a combination of things. But on the bright side that first cigar you smoke when you feel better will be awesome!

I am giving up and heading to the doc tomorrow. I took nyquil a couple hours ago and still cant fall asleep with all my coughing. Hope everyone else feels better and that I get some great drugs tomorrow to kick this dam bug.

I started getting sick a week ago and immediately started taking some of that powdered vitamin stuff, mostly Emergen-C, and I must say by Sunday I was doing pretty well, and things never turned really full blown. I recommend it.

I hear ya! bought a little Maduro5 sampler for myself had it laying around in the humi to smoke and got hit by a head cold but I'm heading out to the B&M to smoke any way... think it'll be something small like a petit edmundo may be I know the HdM petit robusto will make me sick
