This brings back old memories. I used to carry a pack of Virginia Slims (the long skinny chick cigs) so that when my moochin frat brothers asked for smokes I was able to give them one. They quite askin pretty quick.

It sounds like you need a 20ct humi of dog rockets. I wouldn't even keep em humidified. That'll learn em.

After the first ransaking, I would be taking my humi home with me when I left school for any period of time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.....

Unhappy A winter tragedy...

Sorry to hear of the theft bro. I remember when my son had 30+ CD's stolen. We replaced what we could but some of them were limited collectibles that cannot be replaced. Lesson learned not to be as trusting in the future. But it still hurts when you trusted the guys that you call your brothers. Hope you find the guy/guys that helpped themselves. Next time take them with you or find a safe place to lock them up.

Re: A winter tragedy...

Sorry about the loss but I know how you feel. Someone nicked a box from my front door just Tuesday. Luckily It was from a college town over christmas and only 2 people were in the apartment building at the time (one of them being my roomate who was told to expect the box). The best I have to hope for that is that the other guy grabbed it thinking everyone was already gone and he'd hold it until people got back. Problem is, he left Wednesday and I stopped back Thursday for the box.

I don't know if I would want to be apart of that brotherhood.

Wow.. I am a member of a very small frat that has between 6-15 members at any time and am now more glad because we do not have to worry about this... we screen pretty good in the beginning and try to really build the brotherhood... Just gotta spend more time with em.
I am so sorry to hear about the smokes, however i would suggest making a list of what is taken and get some local prices on the cost to replace... they either find the person who did it, or replace it. If I were to throw a party somewhere, at the frat, home, WHEREVER if anything happens, I am responsible for it. Give them time, but let them know it is their responsibility to fix the situation.

It's very hard to come by a fraternity that has a clue.

With my experiences, they can be very, very shady.

You should hold a "bro-check" meeting!

Re: A winter tragedy...

I had a similar experience. A couple of brats (brothers friends) came and jacked some of my smokes thinking I wouldn't notice. I did...

It's too bad they took all 35 of yours though. I say, do absolutely nothing about it when it comes to find out who it was that stole your smokes, and here's why.

If you really want to get even, get another humi with a lock. Keep your smokes in it, and make some "custom" smokes with saw dust and other goodies (no poison). This should teach your frat "brothers" a lesson.
