I ordered this about a month ago, still haven't seen them. But I have smoked a few of the Maria Guerrerro's and I like them. I haven't tried the "444" but enjoyed the Robusto and the Toro's that I've smoked. Just got a good deal on a 5 pack of the Toro from Famous-Smoke auction, $17.00 They should be in tomorrow...

Defintely a good smoke IMHO. I've only tried the robusto. Can't say I've ever seem them carried in my local shops. I threw a review of the robusto on CS a couple of months ago after first trying them.

Re: Maria Guerrero

I very much enjoyed them.

I too have received 3 or 4 of the Altadis samplers. Maria Guerrero, RyJ Reserva, Gisperts. They have all been well worth the $2 per cigar that I paid.

Anyone tried these cigars? Worth to buy the sampler?
Ordered mine just now. Great find, Par.

I really like the MG's. Was introduced to them by Hollywood in the NST when I first started out here at CS. They're on the lighter side of medium, but have a full flavor that wanders into and out of a caramel and cream. Very nice. One thing, though... let 'em sit for a couple months, to get over any 'green' period they might have. I got a few from JR and they were still a bit too fresh.

Re: Maria Guerrero

Good find. I've had two MG's and think they are very good Cameroon cigars, but are overpriced. This sampler is a good buy.

Whoa. Overpriced? I've been paying $5 for either the Toro or Robusto when they're on sale. How much cheaper can you get for a branded, hand made premium cigar???

Guess I'm a cheap bastid. Too be honest, I haven't smoked them or checked their prices since they came out and they were definitely higher than that. Obviously my should be taking with a healthy dose of salt.
