Keep an eye on Ebay for one of these
I bought one of these off Ebay a few years back at a good deal and it works nice for a small room/office. It is kinda loud on the highest setting but better than the window up freezing your a$$ off. They can be bought real cheap and are pretty nice. This one only went for $21.50
