Hey folks... I am planning for the 4th weekend at the lake and I am looking for new beverage suggestions with my smokes. The cigars I have worked out: Rolys Puros while fishing, very affordable and you don’t get upset after dropping it in the boat (not to mention worms, leaches & minnows) . As for the evenings I am bringing along El Rey Del Mundo Robustos, Onyx Reserve Robustos, and for sunsets if Mother Nature cooperates a few Macanudo Duke of Windsors’ and Hemingway Best Sellers’. All I need from you folks is some suggestions for different beers that would accentuate my smokes. I do have good scotch and brandy at the cabin so that is taken care of... Let the great beer quest begin...

My two favorites with cigars are Guinness and any IPA.

I like Sierra Nevada, Bigfoot Barley Wine is out of season so I'd get the pale ale. I don't know if they have Anchor Steam Ale where you are, but I think it's another prime pick to go together with my cigars.

Samuel Adams Summer Ale might pair up with the Duke of Windsor. Both on the lighter side.
