First Cigar Of 2008
We all have in our personal stash, A Vitola that has been predestined to be a "Special Occasion" Cigar, resting for this "New Year".
Being that 2007, is going out and 2008 is just a day away, "Which is going to be that "Vitola" that you have "Predestined" as the "Keeper Of The Flame" For me I will spark up a few, But one will be burning and smoking after it rings 11:59.59 seconds. ringing out the Old year and into 2008! My Choicewill be: CDCEL03 from 2 boxes I have nurtured since they came on the market. Pic's in Gallery. Salud My "Brother's and Sisther's Of The Leaf!" Healthy, safe and Happy 2008!

well, tonight I will smoke my last cigar of the year... and I haven't decided yet
but first of the year... that will take some careful consideration. perhaps an Aug 05 CoRo or a 1.5 year old Opus X SB... we shall see |

My first of 2008 will be a stick from the only surviving cigars of 6 that I have left from when I first started. It will be an H. Upmann from '92. I have no idea what to expect. I hope it is good.

I have a Opus X Forbidden that will be the midnight cigar. Gifted by RZ
Of course, the night will be long and many cigars will be burnt as an offering to the Gods Of The Leaf. Darrell, I will be interested to see what you think of the GOF. I had one on my birthday in Disney. No Goofy jokes please  I should keep a record of how many cigars I smoke all year long. I just can't find the time for a diary, but maybe just a number, then I could keep up with it.

Tomorrow night at 11:59pm I'll be having an approximately 48 yo rothchild sized, no label stick reportedly from an ISOM, by way of a coworker's dad who left it to her, a complete teetotaler. She didn't know if he'd kept it properly hydrated all that time. Been in my humi for almost 8 mos now. Seems to have plumped up a bit, a beautifully smooth, blond nat wrapper, and certainly smells a lot nicer. We'll see what happens!
