Thumbs up Tobacco beetles taste great!

I am smoking a Graycliff Original PGX that had a coupla bore holes in it. It spent the obligitary time in the freezer a while back, but I wasn't gonna waste a Graycliff!

The pre-light on this cigar tasted like Juicy Fruit gum laced with cedar. Most of the flavor is in the nose, but what a nose! Lots of bakery spice tone here. Then, one little off moment where there was a kinda strange earthy tone. Musta been the beetle!

R.I.P.

Hey, it's a Graycliff Altbier! You can't waste a Graycliff.

Did it make any hissing noises or popping sounds during that moment when the flavor changed? A little tiny squealing voice that said, "I'm melting! I'm melting!" Or anything like that? I wonder if aged beetles are smoother than young beetles? I wonder if Graycliff beetles taste better than Cremosa beetles? I wonder if cuban beetles put off more smoke than Dominican beetles? I wonder...

I had juicy fruit laced cedar once. Woke up in the middle of the road, naked with underwear on my head.

Todd had a bunch of aged beauties that had been ravaged by beetles. I smoked all but one because the holes were so big, I couldn't get any draw.

Re: Tobacco beetles taste great!

Hey, Rumble Pen smokes beetles like crazy! I come into the store he works at and one of the perks is he gets to smoke 1 cigar a day (from stock) and also gets to smoke any cigars that LOOK as though they may have beetles in 'em!

I'd bring a wee hole puncher in and rout out all the Fuentes and AVO's.

Next job I apply for is going to have that perk in an addendum to my contract. Beetle-free cigars of course.

I bet the little critters were as pi$$ed as all hell when some dude set fire to their home obviously they are wealthy beetles if they can afford to live in a Graycliff, did they have an ocean view?
