This is one of my favorite shots of many of the gang here at Camp Victory. Yours truly is on the far right front.

I know the other gorillas here that are deployed or have been deployed can attest to the importance of bonding over a cigar in this environment. I have made some great friendships with my fellow cigar buds and definitely kept my sanity.

The other pic is of me, COL Gary Volesky and BG Joe Anderson. This pic appeared in the AUG 07 issue of CA.

Hope everybody is having a great New Year thus far. (42 days and a wake up)

How do you guys attach photos that are not thumbnails, but full photos? Still learning the process here.

Thanks a million times to you and your brothers and sisters in arms!

As far as posting full photos, I use photobucket, tinypic, etc., which are (free) photo hosting sites where you upload a photo and then it supplies you with the necessary code to insert into a board posting. You might have to change the code in the brackets to lower case to get it to work sometimes. I suspect that after a certain period of time these third party sites purge and a post might not have its image a couple of years down the line.

There is also at least one BOTL here who has provided server space to do basically the same thing but I don't have their info at this time.

Amazing pictures and I personally use www.photobucket.com when posting pictures because they make it very easy to integrate. I also want to thank you for your time over in Iraq. Please let your buddies know we are all grateful and indebted to their service!

Is that office right by the driving range on Victory? I was there on X-Mas, visiting my dad. We smoked a couple sticks in the "Victory over America" palace. Funny name, considering... BTW, that palace was never completed. Kinda ironic.

Nice Pic. I've been meaning to get over to you location but have been busy helping units get some equipment operational.

As far as utilizing photobucket or some of these free picture websites, many are being blocked by DOIM to conserve bandwidth. I've found that I can get a good quality photo by importing the photos into Powerpoint and attaching that as a thumbnail. See an example of this PPT attachment as a thumbnail in my bomb thread here:

CigarDoc! My office is near Al Faw and right next to Victory Chapel.

That's a good pic on your avatar. I have the same shot. That was shot in the "Flintstone" House with VOA in the background, check?
