CAO Brazilia vs. Italia (the actual cigar, not the gift set)
Saw these at a local B+M. They are supposedly an exclusive. Brazilia wrapper and Italia binder and filler.
Anyone had one? They are pricey, like $16 for a double corona length, but maybe a bit thinner. I may pick one up just to show it off to you guys (of course to try it as well). The cigar isn't any of these, and it's not the gift set, this is a special release single cigar. http://www.vitolas.net/displayimage.php?album=27&pos=36 It's actually the cigar listed here http://www.ovtc.com/ovtc35thannivers...Cigars%20Cigar It's different than any from the gift set.

Re: CAO Brazilia vs. Italia (the actual cigar, not the gift set)
I think I saw it when I was browsing the internet.
It defiantly caught my eye, didn't they call it the Britalia or something? I am interested to hear what people have to say about it, mainly because I love those two cigar bands. ![]() Last edited by Bones; 01-02-2008 at 11:08 PM.. |

Nope, not the sampler. This is a single cigar with the Brazilia wrapper and Italia binder and filler. Boxes of 45 (I think) of all the same cigar.

Re: CAO Brazilia vs. Italia (the actual cigar, not the gift set)
Assuming someone can find a full box of these I'm in for a split, looks interesting and worth a smoke. I wasted my time bidding on the Box Set on C-bid, once it got over $76 out of my league.
Maybe they are mythical unicorns? Ok, maybe if we can get them for less than $80 a fiver.

Hmmm...$100 bones for 5 cigars? And I don't even like the Italia. Think I'll stick with the $75/box of Mx2's with the B&M hookup instead!

Well, since all you bastages were driving me crazy thinking this was the five cigar gift set, I went and dropped nearly 20 bones to show you what I was talking about.

My B&M has a box of them, the box is awesome looking.
Also, Jim at Blue Havana had a box of them when I was there a few weeks ago. |

They had a box (selling only by the box) that looked like the 5 cigar set in the presentation, but it was all one cigar and it was also a britalia as well, but a different shape.

My B&M has the humidor (very awesome and they are selling it for 130) with the individual cigars. I bought one of the individuals

Re: CAO Brazilia vs. Italia (the actual cigar, not the gift set)
These came in a hexagonal shaped cigar box and not a humidor. They also had a humidor type thing like what you are talking about, but those cigars were more Padron 80th shaped and this is more a normal churchill.
I will admit, when I saw the normal release ones in that humidor, I figured this was less of a special catch. However, these are supposedly from OVTC's 35th anny, so they're a couple years old already.
