Venturing Out to the Devil Site

After spending the past 12 months filling up my 150qt. Cooler with boxes of CC's, I decided it was time to find out what all this talk is about concerning Pepin's, Tatuaje's, Padron's, etc.....My interest is piqued and I have ventured out to the Devil Site to begin conducting research on the above named brands......

At this time, there are only 5-ers of Tatuaje on the devil site and they seem overpriced. Holts has the best price right now on Tats when you consider the freebies. I recently grabbed a cab of petites and regios.

Funny thing I noticed about CBid. The stuff like Pepin, padron, etc... are usually much higher on CB than on regular stores for some reason. You can find great RP stuff and misc stuff, but people go nuts and overpay for the 3 you are requesting on CBid.

Wow, I guess it is true, if you eat caviar and filet mignon everyday, it really does get old after a while. I don't know if I had access to all those cc's if I would even bother wth nc's. (I wouldn't know haven't had any cc's yet).

The "devil site" ins't so bad as long as your research includes the msrp for whatever brand you're looking at, and unless you REALLy want to try that brand do not bid above msrp.

Use autobid, I like to set it to $5.00 below msrp or what I can get it for at my b&m. Just my . Enjoy responsibily.

Not all CC's are better than NCs. In fact many people feel its the exact opposite.

Thanks for the comments re: Cbid. Yeah, I kind of went a bit nuts last year on CC purchases, and would like to get some more age on a lot of my sticks so figure it's a good time to explore a bit and try the "other" side

I have been wanting to try the pepins and tats also, I had a pepin blue that was sent to me by rottenzombie...good stick...I think with some age it could be great!...cant find tats anywhere around here though. Ive been looking at the sites, but dont know which one to try....any suggestions?

Holts, Newhavanacigars, and some others are probably better for Tatuajes

but the Pepin blended Padillas Cbid may be better though

From what I have seen the bids on Tat and Fuente stuff typically exceed the retail price at other sources online. But I did get good deals on Padron, Pepin, Graycliff, RP, Gurkha, etc., etc.
