Just wanted to give a thumbs up to both Holts and CI.
A couple days ago I ordered a box of Tats and some Davidoffs from Holts. I used my debit card which was opened at a bank in Texas so my billing address is in austin, but I currently live in Iowa. There was an issue with shipping and Holts accidently sent it off to texas, but nobody would be at the apartment there for at least a month and this would be a problem. I called them and within 5 minutes, they contacted UPS and had the package re-routed to me after it had already been sent off. I immediately got an email from UPS saying that the delivery was intercepted and re-routed to Iowa. So two
Oh and I forgot to add that they refunded my shipping costs and paid for the intercept (10 dollar fee) as well! Also, I had a similar experience with Cigars International. I'd ordered from them a few times before, but one shipment of two hygrometers and a 5 pack of pepin blacks was delivered to the wrong house or something. The tracking said it was delivered, but I never got anything. I emailed their customer service and had a replacement overnighted to me right away. Just want to let everyone who hasn't dealt with these vendors to know that they are very reliable, have great customer service and definitely know how to treat a customer! I had a similar situation with Hearfelt ind. about a prder for beads. I had great resluts from them as you did. I would like to add my recomendation for them as well.
I am glad to see that there are companies that still care about customer service. |

I'll throw in my support for Holt's as well.
I had an Opus X with a tear in the cap and they quickly and painlessly replaced it for me.

Many of our favorite cigar and accessory retailers have better customer service than anyone else. That's the way BOTLs roll!

I had a situation with CI last summer. My order was mostly boxes and bundles, but I also got 2 fivers of Don Pepin Blue Generosos. These were not packed as well as they should have been and suffered a 70% damage rate. I immediately notified CI of the problem and requested a CC credit for the three (3) sticks I couldn't repair.
They would have none of it. No, they insisted I send all ten back to them. But wait! They shipped the replacements FIRST and included a UPS prepaid return label with them, so all I had to do was re-use the packaging, stick the return label on it and give it to UPS. Class. And I told them so, too! ![]()
