When CA quit having someone on the cover actually holding a cigar in sight, I quit subscribing! Admittedly, I do on occaision buy an issue, but now it's about how much money can you blow on something, not about the true enjoyment of the leaf.

Is it readily available at most bookstores? I'd like to check it out.

Actually it isn't. However, I purchased my first copy at a bookstore, and I can't remember which one it was. Some of our members from more Cosmopolitan places then Alabama might be able to tell you where they are readily available. lol. I subscribe.

    Grinch OUT!!!
I did 2 issues of ratings at smoke and i can tell you they are faked. they changed my ratings and severly edited my comments. note to newbies, DO NOT GO BY RATINGS! best to read the reviews here.

Well, here in Jersey they are in B&N's, and Waldenbooks. While I was away I also saw ECCJ at Books a Million and brentanos.

I personally don't like it much. That whole two language thing kills me. I read like five pages and have a migraine from all the german

I voted for Smoke Mag, cause altho CA is pretty good, I can't stand the fact that most of the stuff they write about is stuff that only the very, very rich can afford.

That means we both need to get very, very rich so we can relate better!

Ya, I've been saving money like crazy since I turned 17 (21 years) so I can retire early and live the good life. But still I don't think I'll ever be rich enough to afford even 5% of the stuff they write about in CA.

    Re: Favorite Cigar Magazine

If you take away the ads of cigars, there really is only 8 pages about cigars, the rest is about Golf, Yachting, the Hot Babes of Lawn Bowling Pros, etc..

Smoke is suffering from Anorexia and never have a bad cigar in the reviews and I just love the Official Miss Smokin' Ash Girl (I'm being sarcastic of course).

Cigar Magazine isn't available here in Canada so I can't comment.

I will get a copy of ECCJ, we have it here. It looks pretty good, I saw the one with Selma Hayak on the cover. It's in German (I think) and English.
